Katrina Wilson Prince, 61, of Abbeville, departed this life on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at the Hospice House in Greenwood. She was born in Atlanta, GA to Ellen Pressley Woods and the late Shelby Steele
Katrina was employed as an associate of Anmed Rehabilitation Hospital and a member of Sharon United Methodist Church. She was an excellent cook and admired for her decorating ability. Katrina had a caregiver’s heart which was evident in her love for her mother. Her family was important to her and her grandchildren were the sunshine of her life.
Katrina is survived by her mother of the home; her daughter, Stephanie Boyd (John) of Abbeville; a brother, Barry Steele (Peggy) of Ashland, MS; two sisters, Alison Steele of Willis, TX and Robbin Lee (Randy) of Woodlands, TX; and two grandchildren, Drake and Amanda Boyd.
A Service to Celebrate Katrina’s life will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Sharon United Methodist Church with Rev. Dan Fortney officiating. Inurnment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests, memorial contributions, in memory of Katrina, be sent to Sharon United Methodist Church, 246 Sharon Church Road, Abbeville, SC.
