Mrs. W.H. Keffer Passes Peacefully Away.
A Nonogenarian's Demise.
Mrs. Elizabeth A. Keffer, relict of the late Prof. W.H. Keffer, died at her residence on Prince street, this morning, surrounded by her children, who have been looking in dread expectancy for the sorrowful event for a week past, the condition of the deceased having been such that she might have passed away at any moment. Mrs. Keffer, who was a native of Buffalo, New York, (as was stated in these columns at the time of Prof. Keffer's death,) was an accomplished and most amiable lady, beloved by all who knew her. her funeral will take place on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock; interment at Woodward Hill Cemetery. -- Lancaster New Era, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, 25Apr1885, p. 6.
