Dale was born on March 26, 1935, in Ennis, Texas, to the late Walton Ernest and Alma Mae (Goddy) Thomas and graduated from Emhouse High School. He worked at Carlon Plastic and sold health insurance. Dale was an avid fisherman, hunter and his passion was Flintknapping. He loved making arrowheads, tomahawks, spears, bows, arrows and quivers, and trading them at First Monday in Canton and other places.
Dale was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Ann Thomas; son, Ricky Dale Thomas; step-mother, Virgie Lee Thomas; brother-in-law, Gary McConnico; and sister-in-law, Jackie Jo Thomas.
He is survived by his daughter, Sherrie Jamison and her husband, Rick, of Corsicana; grandsons, Justin Owen, of Plano, and Brice Sanders, of Corsicana; brother, Bobby Dan Thomas, of Terrell; sister, Shirlyn McConnico, of Corsicana; other relatives and many friends. X5
