Mrs. Cindy Carter, age 63 of Benton, passed away on Wednesday evening February 19th at her home.
Mrs. Carter was born May 1, 1956 in Covington, Kentucky daughter of the late Warren and Louise Carrol Halvorson. Mrs. Carter loved her family, knitting, crocheting and collecting Elvis memorabilia.
Mrs. Carter was preceded in death by her parents as well as one brother Douglas Halvorson. She is survived by her husband Max Carter of Benton; one son James Carter (Shawna) of Benton; one God daughter Madison McGregor of Benton; one brother James Halvorson of Covington, Kentucky; one sister Judy Tarvin of Covington, Kentucky and one grandchild.
Visitation with the Carter family will be held on Saturday, February 29th from 2:00 until memorial service time at 4:00 at the Marshall County Funeral Home.
