Michelle Meyer August 5, 1979 November 10, 2016 Michelle Meyer, 37, of State College passed away Friday, November 10, 2016, at Mount Nittany Medical Center. Born on August 5, 1979, in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Susan (Pencola) Meyer who survives in State College. Michelle was a graduate of Bald Eagle Nittany High School in 1997 and graduated from Penn State in 2012 with a BS degree. She was an RN in women's health at Geisinger Grays Woods. In addition to her mother, Michelle is survived by one son, Christian Meyer of State College and her sister, Jennifer Meyer Mancia and her husband Keith of Jessup, and grandparents: Mary Pencola, and Richard Meyer, Sr. and her very special four-legged friend, Magic. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Snydertown. Michelle was an avid fan of Pittsburgh Steelers and Penn State Athletics. She enjoyed helping others. Michelle truly loved her co-workers and Doctor's and going to work. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandfather, Stan Pencola, and grandmother Janice Meyer. There will be a public viewing held on Sunday, November 13, 2016, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc., 206 N. Spring Street, Bellefonte. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 14, 2016, at 11:30 am at St. Marks Lutheran Church, 850 Snydertown Road, Howard, PA 16841 with Pastor Frank Harpster officiating. Burial will follow at Hublersburg Cemetery, Walker Township.
