Mark Russell Mangum, lovingly known as “Pa”, 64 of Jacksonville, FL died Friday, February 21, 2020 under the care of Hospice of South Georgia. The Florida native was a truck driver who loved the Lord, his family and especially his wife of 38 years. Pa enjoyed spending time with his family, telling stories, laughing, working on antique cars, and collecting “treasures” to restore. He led his family humbly by example through his faith and his legacy will live on. He was predeceased in death by his parents, Roy & Margie Mangum and his brother Glen Carson Mangum.
Survivors are his wife, Sherri Colson Mangum of Jacksonville, FL; four daughters, Krystal Watson of Jacksonville; Rebecca Nace (AJ) of Macclenny, FL; Jessie Morris (Jason) of Lake City, SC; Faith Mangum of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren: Glen Mangum, Layton Fridley, Madalin Fridley, Audrey Nace, Benjamin Nace and Jasper Diaz. Also surviving are his siblings: Nancy Sikes (Bob) of Macclenny, FL; Coleen Catrett Ammiano (Bob) of Callahan, FL; Wayne Mangum (Nicole) of Jacksonville, FL; Jackie Langford of Callahan, FL; Mitchell Mangum (Tracy) of Orange Park, FL; Doyle Mangum (Brandi) of Callahan, FL; and many nieces, nephews and very dear friends.
Private memorial services will be held by the family.
Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup is in charge of arrangements.
