Emily May Schmid, 88, of Medina, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 15, 2020. She was born on May 18, 1931, in Copley, Summit County; to the late Kenneth and Edna (Fulmer) Dustin.

Emily lived a lifetime of accomplishments. She could dance, and bowl. She loved travel, crafting and shared her scrapbooking talents with family and friends. She thoroughly enjoyed her employment as an accountant for Sharon Ornamental Iron Inc.

She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and the General Society of May Flower decedants.

Emily devoted 42 years in faithful service to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Her many callings would include service in Toronto, Canada and Columbus, Ohio Temples. As family history center director, she would guide many in search of their genealogy and family histories.

She loved her family and as family photographer Emily captured many happy memories to share with her loved ones.

She is survived by her children; Victoria Overcash, Grant Reagle, Clifton (Barbara) Reagle, and Karen Wall; stepson, Roger (Beverly) Schmid; 15 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren; and sister, Nancy Dustin.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 18 years, Duane Doyle Schmid; son, Mark Reagle; siblings, Leah, Charles, Karl, Doris and Kenneth; maternal grandparents, Charlie and Minnie (Baysinger) Fulmer; and paternal grandparents, Harvey and Mary Ann (White) Dustin.

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 24, 2020, from 10-11 a.m., at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 4411 Windfall Rd, Medina, 44256. A Funeral Service will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Missionary Fund of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, c/o Bishop Peter King Jr., 4795 Stockbridge Drive, Medina, 44256.
