Obituary: Jack Hendrickson, 88, of Versailles, husband of Mildred Deaton Hendrickson, died Sunday, Oct. 2, 2011, at the St. Joseph Hospice Care Center. Born Dec. 25, 1922, in Bell County, he was the son of John and Catherine Hendrickson. He was a former partner of R.R. Dawson Bridge Co. and a World War II veteran. He was a member of Highlands Baptist Church. In addition to his wife of 58 years, he is survived by a son, Doug (Pam) Hendrickson, Versailles; a daughter, Deborah Hendrickson, Lexington; and a sister, Allie Howard, Lackey, Ky. Services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7, at Kerr Bros. Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Road, Lexington. Burial will follow in the Lexington Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service Friday at the funeral home.
