She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, James S. Wallace; her sisters, Janie Cail and Katheryn Lambert; and her brother, John Parrish.

Margie (as everyone knew her) was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Pooler. She was also a life time member of the Order of Eastern Star and served as Past Worthy Matron.
She was a member of the Pooler Garden Club and loved planting and gardening. Margie served her family well as a homemaker and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an excellent cook, always eager to share her wonderful recipes and canned tomatoes and the best pickles ever.
Margie loved her animals, especially her cats. She will be sadly missed by all who had the privilege and pleasure of knowing her.
We know many people love her and her family, but we ask at this time that you please sign the online guest book provided by the funeral home. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the family has requested a private, immediate family only service. So please share your prayers for Margie and her family and your happy thoughts about her at this time.
There will be a private service on Saturday, January 16, 2021 and will be buried at Bulloch Memorial Gardens in Statesboro.
