She was preceded in death by her husbands, Leon Waters and Warren Welch. She reunites today for time and eternity with Warren.
Elaine is survived by her son, Robert (Rhonda) Welch; daughter, Linda (Richard - deceased) Reynolds; and seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Born one of seven children she is preceded in death by her sister, Gayle. Survived by her brothers, Wes (Velma - deceased) and Glenn (Linda); and sisters, Jan (Harold – deceased), Carole (Lee) and Gloria (Bob).
With fondness she leaves behind members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Stoneridge Ward, whose members provided support this last year, especially Mac and Julie Macfarlane who remained at her side when family couldn’t and her best friend, Gudren Warrick, who she called family.
Elaine loved writing poetry, traveling and family. She enjoyed gardening and had a green thumb. She always wanted to move to Utah….She’s home now.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
