He was born and raised in Tullahoma, TN on June 3, 1943. Throughout his career, Jerry worked in many facets of the construction industry. His many moves across the country nurtured his love of history and nature which he shared with his sons.
In 2012 Jerry retired from construction management to spend time with his two great loves: spending time with his wife Paulette and serving God through his church, Hermitage Hills Baptist Church. Throughout the years, Jerry also served as a Boy Scout master and a member of the Gideons.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Paulette Glover Hamilton; 2 sons, Stan (Mary) and Brad (Susan); 3 grandchildren, Ian, Maddie, and Nicole; and his sister Betty Clem.
Visitation will be at Hermitage Funeral Home Saturday, February 22, 2020 from 3:00 - 5:30 pm. The Celebration of Life Service will follow afterwards at 6:00 pm. Burial will be Sunday at 2:00 pm in Tullahoma, TN at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
