David W. Darr, age 72, of Tomahawk, WI, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2020, at Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital in Tomahawk. David was born on April 3, 1947, in York, PA, to the late James and Betty (Gunnet) Darr.

David grew up in York, PA, where he attended school. After high school, he enlisted in the military, proudly serving our country in the Marines for 2 years and the Army for 18 years. He retired from the military as an E6. After retirement, he worked with the United States Postal Service for 16 years as a mail handler in Lancaster, PA. David moved to Tomahawk to be close to his daughters and grandchildren. He loved traveling, playing bingo, BBQ’s, and going to the theater to see the newest movie release every weekend.

Survivors include 3 Daughters, Michelle Stough, Lydia Darr, and Leah Darr; 4 Grandchildren, Devyn and Megan Wildcat, Miah Faust, and Leeann Collins; 1 Great-Grandson, Rhett Wildcat; Siblings, Nancy Lawler, Gloria (Barry) Moose, James (Ruth) Darr, Susan (Dennis) Fink, Gary (Sherry) Darr, Barbara (Robert) Ruth, Joseph Darr, and Kenneth (Tedd) Darr.

David was preceded in death by his Parents, James and Betty.

A Memorial Service for David Darr will be held on Monday, January 20, 2020, at 5:00 PM, at Generations Funeral Home. Rev. Larry Mathein will officiate
