Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs. Visitation will be on Thursday, February 20, 2020 from 12 pm to 8 pm with family to receive friends from 6 pm to 7:30 pm at Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service. Funeral Services will be on Friday, February 21, 2020, 10 am at Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Chapel. Wilma will be laid to rest at Woodland Memorial Park of Sand Springs.
Wilma was born on April 2, 1925 in Porum, Oklahoma to her parents Armour A. and Ruth Ann (Riffe) Willis. She received her general education from Porum schools and later began a career with Zebco Fishing as an assembly line worker. She worked loyally for the company for over 25 years. Wilma has always loved to dance and listen to music. Later in life, she really enjoyed trips in the car to go look at the beauty of nature and beautiful homes. Most importantly, Wilma will be remembered as a loving mother, sister, and grandmother who cherished her family and the moments they spent together.
She was preceded in passing by her parents Armour and Ruth Willis, her brothers Wayne and Phillip, and her sisters Juanita, Bonnie and Billie.
Wilma is survived by her daughter Sharon Troughton, her brother Dyton Willis, her grandchild Robert (spouse Gina) Hicks, her great-granddaughters Samantha and Andrea Hicks, and numerous other family members and friends.
