Angel was a loving, generous, adventurous and a life loving woman.

Her survivors include her mother; her husband, John Hawkins, Sr.; one son, Jabari Hawkins; one daughter, Jaila Hawkins, all of Ferriday, LA; two step-sons, Joshua Hawkins, Dallas, TX, John Hawkins, Jr., Newark, NJ; one step-daughter, Journey H. Collins, Pearland, TX; one sister, Misty Bratton (Bennie), Olla, LA; three brothers, Carl Banes (Della), Wayne Banes (Gwenee'), both of Spearsville, LA; one aunt, Shirley Birdwell, Ferriday, LA; a Goddaughter, LaCamryn Hawkins; a special friend, Johnathan Glover, Opelousas, LA; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews; a great niece and nephew.
