Rose Marie Morano-Starace, 86, of Yonkers, NY, passed away on March 31 in her home.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 4 at 10 am at Christ the King Church in Yonkers. Visitation will be held at Flower Funeral Home in Yonkers, NY on April 3 from 4 pm to 9 p.m.
Rose Marie was born Rose Marie Morano in the Bronx, New York. She married Ralph Starace on March 31, 1950. The couple had three children, Donald, Gary and Nancy.
Rose Marie is survived by her husband Ralph, children Donald, Nancy and Gary, her daughters-in-law, Janice and Romina, her grandchildren, Chris, Mike, Rob, Max and Jade, her granddaughters-in-law, Julie and Jamie, and her great grandson Jaxon, her brother William, sister-in-law Kathy, nieces Lori and Denise, and nephew Robert.
Rosie will be remembered by her family and friends as a generous and caring person. She welcomed anyone into her home from the days in the Bronx right until the end. Rosie loved to cook and bake and put smiles on people's faces. She loved her family greatly, and never missed opportunities to spend time with them. She will be greatly missed.
