Gene T. Abramovitz, 85, was taken home to be with our Lord on July 5, 2016. Gene is survived by his wife of 56 years, Pauline, his son Richard (Deborah), his daughter Marcella (Robert), and all his loving grand-children.
Gene was born Nov. 4 1930 in Pierce City, Missouri to Toney and Clara Abramovitz.
Gene had served in the United State Air Force for 20 years. He loved spending time in nature, the outdoors and with animals. He was a member of the St. Jude's Catholic Church community. Gene was a fantastic husband, father, and grandfather. He was always proud of the accomplishments of his family.
Visitation will be held at Moore's Funeral Home in Jacksonville on Thursday July 7, 2016 from 5-7 pm. Rosary will follow.
Funeral Service will be held at Moore's Funeral Home in Jacksonville, Friday July 8, 2016 at 10 am.
