Wanda J. Vaughn, 84, of Fulton passed away at Fulton Nursing and Rehab on Sunday, February 16, 2020.

Wanda was born in Calwood, Missouri on June 26, 1935 to the late Lewis Sheets and the late Hazel (Newberry) Sheets.

Wanda was no stranger to hard work. For many years she worked as a waitress at Gasper's Restaurant. If she wasn't at work she could be found working on the farm, tending to her flowers or any number of other tasks around her home In her own time, she enjoyed fishing.

Wanda is survived by sons, William Vaughn (Lisa) of Fort Scott, Kansas and Clinton Vaughn (Melbina) of Fulton, Missouri; daughters, Brenda Payne of Fulton and Donna Bentch of Auxvasse; brother, Jim Sheets (Judy) of Fulton; sisters, Margaret Ferino (George) , Mary Hook, Joyce Webb and Betty Schmidt (Henry) all of Fulton;
eleven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by daughters, Kimberly Vaughn and Beverly Maupin; brother, Jerry Sheets; sister, Martha Hughes and brother-in-law, Bob Hook.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastor Mike Crowson officiating. Friends will be received from 10:00am until the time of service at the funeral home. Internment will be in New Hope Cemetery at a later date.
