Louie Milton Mitchell, age 82, passed away on Saturday February 15, 2020. Louie was born October 2, 1937 to Louie Lee and Marie Mitchell in Dallas, Texas.
Louie is preceded in death by his parents Bud and Marie Mitchell, his loving wife Faye Mitchell, son Timothy Mitchell and son in law Billy Henderson.
Those left with cherished memories are his four children Vickie Henderson, Cindy and husband Jim Wiser, Michael Mitchell and wife Katie, Randy and wife Cynthia Mitchell, daughter in law Cindy Mitchell, two sisters, Betty Albright and Maryann Hall, two half-sisters Harmony Teel and Melody Winchester, nine grandchildren Jamie Henderson, Bennie Henderson, Shannon Williams, Nathaniel Wiser, Jacob Wiser, Katelynn Wiser, Justin Mitchell, Laticha Aguilar, Randy Luke Mitchell Jr., Christopher Mitchell, Tamatha Trout, 64 great grandchildren and one great great grandson on the way. Louie was a proud grandfather to 5 generations.
Louie was one who loved to go fishing, watching NASCAR and he even had a love for music by none other than Elvis Presley. Louie also loved spending time with his family and will be very missed.
A visitation for Louie will be held Tuesday, February 18, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Roselawn Funeral Home in Seagoville, Texas. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Kelsey Heritage Center, 6380 Magnolia Rd. FM 1795, Gilmer, Texas. A burial will occur Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at Kelsey Memorial Cemetery where he will be laid to rest by his mother.
