He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Lee Hunt; his daughter, Florence Locklear; and a granddaughter, Sadie Hunt.
Chris is survived by his wife, Angie Hunt of Lumberton; his daughter, Christina Oxendine (Justin) of Fayetteville; his grandchildren: Christopher, Brantley and Khloee, all of Lumberton; his mother, Jacqueline Hunt of Lumberton; his brothers, Donald Hunt (Bonnie) of Rockingham; two sisters, Sharon Hunt of St. Pauls and Kim “Mamie” Oxendine of Baltimore; nine nieces; seven nephews; several great-nieces and nephews; and special friends: Gail Little of Lumberton, Angie Little of Myrtle Beach, SC and April Hunt of Fairmont.
A funeral service will be held at Annease Drive Praise & Worship Center with Bishop Kenny Mitchell and Evangelist J.C. Hunt officiating. The burial service will follow at Annease Drive Cemetery in Fairmont.
