He retired after 35 years of service at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital but then went on to work various jobs, including 10 years at the Wingate Hotel in Vienna, WV.
Jackie will be deeply missed by his children, Samuel Moore of Parkersburg, Jack Moore of Parkersburg, Jerry Moore of Vienna, Tommy (Sherry) Moore of Williamstown, Jeannie (Kenneth) Seebaugh of Parkersburg, James Moore of Vienna, Jonny (Cynthia) Moore of Parkersburg, two grandchildren that he raised, Chris Moore and JJ Moore of Vienna, an additional 12 grandchildren, six great grandchildren, one brother and five sisters.
In addition to his wife Edna, he was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, one brother, one granddaughter and one daughter in law.
Friends may call Thursday, February 20, from 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm at Landmark Baptist Church, Parkersburg followed by memorial service at 6:00 pm.
