Obituary
Ogden/Koosharem, Utah – Raymond S. Lee, age 64, passed away February 14, 2020 in Ogden of complications from a stroke. He was born March 24, 1955 in Richfield, a son of Duane E. and Rae Lynn Schaugaard Lee.

He graduated from Bonneville High School in the Weber County School District in 1973. He attended and graduated from Weber State College with a Bachelors Degree in science. Ray taught Science at Roy High School for 30 years. During that time he developed a fishing class and a wildlife class, because he wanted his students to be aware and share in these areas that he knew and enjoyed. He had students who went out in various wildlife fields, and that made him very proud. He retired from teaching in 2018 because of health problems. He had learned to love the great outdoors from his father and his Uncle Brant.

Rich Hansen, one of Rays’ former students, became his best friend.

Ray was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Because of his love for dogs, Ray always had a German Shorthair Pointer as his companion.

He is survived by his mother, Rae Lynn Lee of Koosharem; siblings: Kenneth Duane and Linda Lee of Washington Terrace; Russell A. Lee of Riverdale; Sandra Lynn and Tim Luscher of Koosharem.

He is preceded in death by his father, Duane Lee.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. in the Koosharem LDS Ward Chapel, where friends may call for viewing Saturday morning from 11:30 to 12:30 prior to the services.

Burial will be in the Koosharem Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
