Jim Thompson, age 74, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 26 th at his home. He was born December 4 th, 1945 in Superior Nebraska to Ed and Elsie Thompson. He met his wife, Jean in Lincoln Nebraska in 1967, they were later married and enjoyed over 50 happy years together.His passion was traveling, spending time in nature with his wife, family and friend and taking photographs. All that knew him were struck by his easy-going nature, love for life, contagious smile and sense of humor.
He is survived by his wife, Jean, children Theresa and Bill (wife Amanda, grandchildren – Trevor, Bryson, Lily, Aidan, Arabelle) his two sisters Barb and Penny, niece Becky (whom he thought of as a daughter), and many others. Family, friends and others whose lives Jim touched are invited to the Mt. Olivet cemetery in Wheat Ridge, from 11-12 on Friday, February 7 th.
