Susan Phillips, age 64 of Lenoir City, formerly of Cleveland, TN passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 16, 2020. Susan was a graduate of West Monroe High School in West Monroe, LA and Liberty University in Virginia.

Susie was born in St. Jospeh, MI on February 20, 1955. She was raised in West Monroe, LA since she was a young child. She graduated from West Monroe High School and soon married. She became a medical technologist and worked at Glenwood Hospital for many years. Not settling for this, Susie went back and received her bachelors degree in accounting and went to work in the family business, Wilcoxon Enterprises in West Monroe, LA.

Several years ago, she was introduced to the "Women of Hope" where she met David and Connie Herring and Perry and Pam Stone of VOE Ministries. These relationships made a permanent, positive change that would carry her through the rest of her life.

Susan's hobbies were baking, painting, singing and playing the piano. Most of all she loved playing with her granddaughter, Piper Abigail.

Susan was always the life of the party and very generous and loving. Through her life she made a wonderful difference in the lives of so many people. She loved God and family with all her heart.

Susan was preceded in death by her father, Herbert Wilcoxon; brother, Gary Wilcoxon, and brother-in-law, Aldo Bon. She is survived by her children, Jacob Phillips and wife, Charlene Phillips of West Monroe, LA and Rachael Phillips of Cleveland, TN; mother, Ruth Wilcoxon; sister, Carol Bon and husband, Jay Parsons; granddaughter, Piper Abigail; nephew, Jamin Bon and niece, Jennifer Bon.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in honor of Susie Phillips on Saturday, February 22nd at 5 pm, located at Omega Center International. 410 Urbane Road NE in Cleveland, TN. Everyone is welcome to join as we celebrate the life of an amazing, one-of-a kind, beautiful soul.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that all donations be made to the Women of Hope Ministries that Susie was a part of, served, and had a passion for for many years. www.womenofhopetn.org
