Surrounded by her loving family, Charlene Cannon Phillips earned her angel wings on February 15, 2020 at the age of 92. She was born on June 27, 1927 to the late Charlie and Minnie Cannon. She was proceeded in death by her husband Marvin “Sam” Phillips, her son Charles W. Phillips, and her siblings.
She is survived by her sons, Keith (Carolyn) Phillips of Drasco, Jason (Desiree) Phillips of Morrilton, 2 daughters Peggy (Bob) Bradley of Searcy and Sharon (Jerry) Barton of Heber Springs. She was the grandmother to 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren.
She loved the Lord, was a Christian, and a member of The First Assembly of Cod Church in Heber Springs.
She was so full of life and love, always boasting a smile on her face. She loved her family and was the happiest when the were all around her. She was an amazing cook. She worked hard all her life and was an inspiration to all. She will be dearly missed but she has been made whole again. We rest assured knowing we will see her again.
Her Celebration of Life will be held at the First Assembly of God Church located in Heber Springs, Arkansas. The family will receive visitors at 12:30 PM on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 with her services starting at 1:30 PM. Her final resting place will be at the South Crossroads Cemetery in Hopewell, Arkansas by Rev. Lee Brown
