Funeral services for Ms. Linda Greenwood will be held at 3:30 PM Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. Mike Fondren and Rev. Doug Jones officiating. Interment in Union Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 12 Noon til time for service Tuesday, February 18th. John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Services in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Greenwood, 76, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2020 at Regency Hospital in Meridian, MS. She lived in Winston County most of her life. She worked in a garment factory for many years. Her hobbies include singing, fishing and hunting. She was a member of Noxapater Baptist Church.
Ms. Greenwood was preceded in death by her parents, Cleo Ray and Mamie Dee Doss Ray; Husband, Charles “Dan” Greenwood; Son, Ray Greenwood; Brother, Junior Self.
Ms. Greenwood is survived by her daughters, Melody Young (Gerald Sr.) of Carriere, MS and Michelle Cheatham (Mark) of Philadelphia; Daughter-in-law, Lisa Greenwood of Philadelphia; Sister, Patricia Self of Lexington, MS; Brother, Johnny Lee Self of Senatobia, MS; (6) Grandchildren, Gerald Young Jr., Megan Pitre, Shelby Greenwood, Carly Greenwood, Cole Cheatham and Ali Grace Cheatham; (5) Great-Grandchildren, Anna Young, Emma Young, Lane Young, Madelyn Pitre and Emily Pitre; Several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers: Cole Cheatham, Dustin Pitre, Mark Cheatham, Gerald Young Jr., Rev. Doug Jones and Don Greenwood.
