Barbara Ball, 72, of Centralia, IL passed away Saturday, February 15, 2020 at HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL.
She was born in Centralia, IL on February 15, 1948 the daughter of Everett and Sarah “Pauline” (Manion) Anglen.
She married the love of her life Phillip Ball Sr., on March 26, 1971 at Central City Baptist Church and he survives her.
Survivors that will always remember Barbara’s love for her family include her beloved husband, Phillip Ball Sr. of Centralia; devoted children, K. Ball of Centralia, P. Ball Jr. and wife R. of Centralia; treasured grandchildren; brother, D. Anglen of Centralia; sister, Paula and husband Robert of Centralia; special friends, Steve ad Kathy of Centralia; Godson, Jeremy of Centralia; and nieces and nephews.
Barbara is preceded in death by both her parents, Everett and Pauline Anglen; brothers, Dean Anglen and Dale Anglen.
Mrs. Ball was a woman of faith and love. She was a lifelong resident of Centralia, IL and was proud to raise her family there. Barbara was blessed to be a full-time homemaker and care for her family’s every need. She was also notorious for her furniture rearranging. Barbara was the host that brought everyone together, especially for her Christmas Eve Parties. She loved to have people over to listen to music as well. Music has always been a passion of hers, she loved singing Karaoke and even had an extended family that she would do so with weekly. Barbara enjoyed bowling with her husband, Phillip. She liked to go out to eat particularly to Jerry’s and eat a good steak. Barbara adored being a Grandma to her granddaughters and will be missed by her whole family and karaoke friends.
A celebration of life service will follow the visitation at 10:00 A.M. Saturday February 22, 2020 at Irvin Macz Funeral Home in Centralia, Il.
Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in rural Sandoval.
