Calvin Brooks Gore, 92, passed away Monday, February 17, 2020 at Heritage Home of Florence. He was born November 21, 1927 in Horry County, a son of the late Rev. Mack H. Gore and Minnie E. Holmes Gore.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Elois Todd Gore; a son, Robert E. Gore; a granddaughter, Kelly Kostic and several brothers and sisters.

Calvin was a WWII Veteran and member of the American Legion in Florence Post 1. He retired from the Ford Dealership as service manager after twenty-one years of service. An avid outdoorsman, he loved to fish and hunt. Calvin was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend to all. Mr. Gore is survived by his son, Dr. Larry Brooks Gore (Susan) of Little River; sister, Maxine Lewis; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren and special friend, Marie Smith.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00am Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at Watson Funeral Services with Rev. Mack Hutson officiating.

Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
