Barbara Lynn Carr, age 69 of Manila, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2020, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. Born in Pueblo, Colorado she was the daughter of the late Tony and Clara Owens Ruggieri and was raised in the Rocky Community near Leachville by her grandparents, Mollie and Cleve Owens.

A 1967 graduate of Leachville High School, Barbara had been a Manila resident for the past 50 years and was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Along with her husband, she was the owner and operator of B and B's Restaurant in Monette and TC's Family Restaurant in Manila.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Bryan Polston and a sister, Cheryl McMillan.

She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Terry Carr of Manila
2 sons, Blake Carr of Manila
T. J. Carr (Carolyn) of Mathiston, Mississippi

2 daughters,
Brooke Dunigan (Tommy) of Black Oak
Lara Lee Winton (Ben) of Birmingham, Alabama

She also leaves 8 grandchildren; Mollie Beth, Keelie Blair, Richard, Josie, Evan, Sam, Will, and Max.
3 sisters;
Marla Edie, Trish Weaver, and Jennifer Pattee.

Funeral service will be 11 A. M. Wednesday, February 19, 2020, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Rev. Jerry Pentecost and Rev. Tony Huffman officiating.

Burial will follow in Manila Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include Steve Shelton, Tommy Carroll, Tony Crowell, Scott Gifford, Dan Gamble, Kevin McLean, Kenny Carmichael, and Garland Martin.

The family will receive visitors Tuesday evening from 5 until 8 at the funeral home.
