Linda was born in Boise, Idaho on October 24th, 1947 and spent most her life in Oklahoma City with parents Charles and Essie Brasher.

Linda graduated from U.S. Grant High School in 1965 and attended classes at OCCC.

She married Leon Hester in 1966 and had three sons, Jeff, Chad and Dustin. They often shared their home as foster parents for newborn babies.

She was an award winning cosmetologist and instructor. She also co-owned The Mane Event Salon with her aunt Anne Williams. Her love for family and friends was as fierce as her loyalty to them. Holidays and vacations were her favorite times. She enjoyed music, concerts, movies, cheering for OU Football, sewing and reading her Bible and books.

Linda is survived by her sons, Jeff, Chad, and Dustin, her brother Kenneth Brasher and family, her sister Sue Aker and family, her mother-in-law Janelle Brasher, and her beloved grandchildren Lillian, Calon, Archer and Garrett. Linda's life will be celebrated Tuesday, February 25th, at 3:00 pm at Shekinah Fellowship Church, 412 SW 104th St., Oklahoma City.
