Services for Joseph F. Acquefreda. 54. of Palm Springs, will be held at 10 a m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Palm Springs. Mr Acquefreda, a native of Bronx, N.Y.. died Thursday at Desert Hospital in Palm Springs. He was former chief of security for Madison Square Garden in New York City. In 1973 he formed Control Security Services Inc. in Palm Springs Survivors include two daughters, Lisa Geordano of Beacon Falls, Conn., and Joanne D'Addario of Milford, Conn.; a son, Joseph Acquefreda Jr of Palm Springs; his mother, Mrs, M Acquefreda of Cathedral City, a sister. Francine Russo of Palm Springs; and a brother. Frank J Acquefreda of New York Burial will be at Desert Memorial Park in Cathedral City.
