Joyce Lee Quick Stevens was born in Union, Franklin County, Missouri to Kenneth Quick and Lorene ( Immekus) Quick. She spent her younger years in Franklin County and then her family moved to Enid, Oklahoma when she was in junior high, where her father was stationed at Vance Air Force Base. She attended Emerson Junior High and graduated from Enid High School in 1960. She married Edward "Leon" Stevens on October 22,1961 at Northside Assembly of God in Enid, Oklahoma. To this union were born three children, Tami, Tommy and Timi. She was blessed with 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
She leaves behind her husband Leon, children Tamara "Tami" Landreth and husband Dave, Thomas "Tommy" Stevens and wife Elaine, Timna "Timi" Wood and husband Tim; 11 grandchildren, Hunter Henry, Storm Henry, Tommy Stevens II, Starri Stevens Howard, Tiffany Dugan, Nash Stevens, Keeley Stevens, Branson Stevens, Brady Wood, Blake Wood and Briley Wood; 4 Great-grandchildren; sister Faith "Susie" Quick; 2 nephews, Gene Ray Wilkerson II and Mike Winterbank; 3 nieces, Danielle Wilkerson, Amber Winterbank Shannon and Crystal Winterbank and all of her Stevens family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth Quick and Lorene Chapman; her granddaughter, Journey Stevens and her younger brother, Danny Winterbank.
She is buried next to her mother and near her granddaughter and her brother.
