Clyde M. Shaw, age 73, a Manitowoc resident, died Wednesday morning, January 4, 2012.
He was born on July 31, 1938 in Manitowoc, son of the late Clinton D. and Laura (Reif) Shaw. Clyde was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School and was a Veteran of the United States Navy. He retired from the Herald Times Reporter.
Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law: Cindy & Bill Schwerma, Two Rivers, Connie & Jerry Zima, Mishicot, Carla & Tom Nueman, Francis Creek; a son: Cal Shaw and his special friend: Wendy, Two Rivers; seven grandchildren: Ashley (Jake), Aaron, Aarika, Andrew, Alyssa, Justin and Brandon; one great granddaughter: Madysson; a sister and brother-in-law: Marilyn & Mike Keehan, Whitelaw; and a brother and sister-in-law: Cletus & Judy Shaw, Two Rivers. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by two brothers and a sister-in-law: Donald & Pauline Shaw and Wayne Shaw.
Cremation has occurred at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc. Funeral Service for Clyde will be held at 1:00 p.m. at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers on Saturday, January 7, 2012. Officiating at the service will be Rev. Tom Reynebeau, with military honors to be accorded by the Two Rivers VFW and American Legion. Clyde will be laid to rest at Knollwood Mausoleum, town of Kossuth, at a later date.
Family will greet relatives and friends at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers, from 12:00 (noon) until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2012.
The Pfeffer Funeral Home & All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
