Services for Dennis Reed will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Hilliard Funeral Home with Pastor Daniel Whittington officiating. Visitation will start at 1:00 p.m. He will be laid to rest at Fairway Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Dennis Marshall Reed was born December 31, 1959. He had been a resident of Brownsboro for over a year, formerly living in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and Houston. He worked as a petroleum inspector and truck driver for many years. Dennis loved to build things, work on cars and tinker with his tools.
He passed away at the age of 60 on February 13, 2020 in Tyler. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde F. Reed and Marie Weaver Reed, and son, Zachery Reed.
Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Terri Reed of Brownsboro; children, Karen & Daniel Whittington of Ft. Worth, and Jeremy & Kayla Reed of Dallas; grandchildren, Alec James Whittington, Adelyn Leta-Ann Reed, and Charles Easley; siblings, Arlene, Darlene, Marlene, Carlene, Ricky, James, Jeremy, and Wayne; and numerous other relatives and friends.
