Billy F. Tharp, 78, of Quinlan died Monday afternoon at his residence. Graveside services are at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Wieland Cemetery with John Albritton officiating.
Born July 25, 1921 in Greenville, he was the son of Amos Franklin Tharp and Minnie Maddox. He married Katherine Brannan on Oct. 25, 1941 in Rockwall.
Mr. Tharp was a retired salesman for Lone Star Donut company. He was a Methodist.
Surviving are his wife of Quinlan, daughter Carolyn Brewer of Quinlan, grandchildren Mitzi Cruise of Greenville, Michelle Albritton of Longview and Stacy Bowen of Cash and great grandchildren Trey Cruise, Nicole Cruise, Christina Cruise, and Grace Albritton.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Pallbearers are William Brannan, Grady Busby, John Bowen, Greg McKinney, Eric Albritton and Trey Cruise.
