Melinda Hoover died peacefully at home September 21st in Midwest City, OK at the age of 56. Melinda is survived by her husband, David; children, Katie married to Eric, and David married to Katharine; sister, Cynthia married to Tim; and brother, Paul. She was met in heaven by her parents, Barbara and Richard Charland; and her sister, Sandra. Mindy was born December 23, 1962 in Syracuse, NY. She graduated from Cicero High School in 1980 and went on to graduate from the University of Maryland with a degree in accounting. She was an employee of the Hertz Corporation. Mindy was a dedicated wife, mother, sister, and friend. She also unconditionally loved her grandchildren; Jakob, Tate, and Claire Belle. Her free time was spent traveling. Whether it was a trip to a far destination or a day at the zoo, she loved to explore and share that time with those she loved. Her strong Catholic faith gave her comfort in bad times and lifted her soul in good. She will be missed dearly by her family and numerous friends. She left us all too soon.
