June Louise White, 94, of West Liberty, passed away January 25, 2020 in Columbus, Ohio.
June enjoyed many years as a teacher, and after retirement began transcribing books into Braille for the blind and teaching sign language. June was involved in Eastern Star and spent three terms as Grand Matron and on term as Worthy Grand Matron. With all of her activities, June was most known for her desire to help others.
June was born to Charles and Grace Brumbaugh in N. Canton, Ohio June 17, 1925. She is survived by her sons, Ray (Cathy) White of Layton, Utah and Glenn White of Oakdale, California, daughter Debbie Moody of Mustang, Oklahoma, son in law Steve Swartz of Bellefontaine, three grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and numerous friends at Green Hills. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert White, daughter Frances Swartz, sisiters Eileen Elliott and Helen Hannah, brothers Eugene Brumbaugh and Dale Brumbaugh, and son in law Scott Moody.
There will be a celebration of life for June at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Green Hills Foundation Hall.
