Mr. Paul E. Gibson, 70, of Union City passed away 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at West Tennessee Healthcare Rehabilitation Hospital Cane Creek.

Paul was born December 14, 1951, in Terra Haute, Indiana, son of the late Carl Eugene and Betty Jean (Nolan) Gibson Meier. He married Cathy (Lehman) Gibson September 25, 1970. She died November 9, 1982. He worked for the former Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company for 39 years and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
He is survived by two sons, Pete Gibson of Union City and Chris Richardson (Stephanie) of Henderson; two daughters, Shelly Webb (Randall) of Union City and Shannon Gibson (Eric Dowdy) of Union City; seven grandchildren, Elizabeth Bishop (Terrence) of Memphis, Savannah Webb of Memphis, Ashton Webb of Union City, Hensleigh Dowdy of Union City, Aurdi Dowdy of Union City, Ava Dowdy of Union City, Caylee Richardson of Henderson and Cayleb Richardson of Henderson; and one brother, Kurt Meier (Jennifer) of St. Marys, Ohio.
He was also preceded in death by one brother, Cliff Gibson.
