SNIPES, Patricia Rae-Jean (Johnston) of Mount Morris, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2020 surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held 1PM Saturday, February 15 at North Baptist Church, 7360 N. Clio Road, Mt. Morris Burial to follow at Flint Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Friday, 4PM - 8PM at Sharp Funeral Homes Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to the family. Patricia was born to Ray Johnston and Connie Kimmer (Middleton) in Pleasant Plains, Arkansas on August 1, 1944. She later moved to Michigan where she met her spouse of 57 years Thomas B. Snipes, Jr. Patricia and Thomas married on October 12, 1962. Patricia enjoyed gardening fresh veggies and flowers, sewing, bird watching (her favorite bird being the red hummingbird), but most of all she loved spending time with her family. Patricia was known for her selflessness and truth worthy personality. She raised three generations of her own and dedicated twenty plus years to the community school system and local church as a Vacation Bible School teacher. Patricia is survived by her husband: Thomas B. Snipes, Jr.; daughters, Tanya Snipes and Tabitha Crossnoe; 5 grandchildren, Tiffany Sorensen (Timothy), Paul Waldrop, Kristin Waldrop, Autumn Crossnoe, and Donald Crossnoe, Jr. (Buc); 7 great-grandchildren; 6 sisters; and many nieces and nephews.
