On Oct. 27, 1957, Helen married Robert R. Harper in Marinette.
They then moved to Milwaukee, WI and Madison, WI, where she worked as a beautician, assisting her husband through engineering school.
They moved to Rhinelander, Wis., in 1963 and stayed there for 23 years raising a family of four children.
They returned to Marinette in 1986 and have resided here since.
Helen worked for many years in Rhinelander and Menominee, MI at Snyder's Drugs, which became Osco and then CVS Pharmacy.
Helen loved to travel, especially to visit family, her greatest joy. She was devoted to her faith and was a longtime active member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her husband, Robert;
sons: Mike (Sara), Steve (Natalie) and Scott;
a daughter, Kristen (Mike) Baxter;
grandchildren: Amanda, Erika, Megan, Hailey, Seth Allen, Levi, Elena, Kayla, Seth Michael and Brandon;
great-grandchildren: Kaira, Lantz, Alexander, Serena and Jax;
and two sisters: Rose Paris and Judy (Joe) McMahon.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Shirley Chase; and brothers: Albert 'Joe' and Duane.
Visitation will be held at Our Savior's Lutheran Church on Friday, Feb. 14, 2020, from 9 until 11 a.m. A memorial service will follow with the Rev. Kenneth Michaelis officiating.
