January 8, 1931-January 15, 2020 - Born outside of Potter, Nebraska, Janet was the third of four children.

Preceded in death by her parents (Arthur Ellsworth Killham—father, and Barbara Augusta (Peiron) Killham--mother) and two of her siblings (Ellsworth Irvin Killham and Barbara Augusta (Killham) Shiffermiller).

After her mother's death in 1936, the children were raised on the farm by her father and, joined two years later, by the family's long-time housekeeper, Lucile Gressott (known as Grandma Cile to Janet's children). Janet started her education at a local, country, one-room schoolhouse until 3rd grade when she transferred to school in "town." By her sophomore year in high school, she had moved to Sidney, Nebraska and was living with her grandmother and Uncle Chet. Janet met the man she would marry the fall of her senior year through her brother Ellsworth. She eloped with Robert Emery Andrew on March 26, 1948 in Brighton, Colorado to begin their 70+ years of marriage.

While living in Sidney, Nebraska, they had two daughters (Rea J Andrew & Lyn R Rodgers). When the trucking company her husband managed closed its Sidney office, they moved their two young daughters to Portland, Oregon where their family has grown to include six grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren from whom she took immense joy and pride. She was always delighted to see the children no matter how grown up they were. She connected with each one in their own way.

From their home in SE Portland (S. Tabor/Franklin High School area), Janet helped run the office for Robert's insurance inspection branch business for many years. When they moved to Dundee, Oregon in 1987, she and her husband became long-time members of the First Presbyterian Church in Newberg, OR. She spent many years as the church's wedding coordinator and as a deacon including 12 years as the treasurer. She and Robert spent 25 years delivering for Meals on Wheels.

Janet is survived by her younger sister, Patricia (Patty) Alice (Killham) Sterling of Nebraska, her daughters Rea J Andrew of Newberg, Oregon and Lyn R (Andrew) Rodgers of Prineville, Oregon, 6 grandchildren, 14 greatgrandchildren, and 26 nieces and nephews.

She is missed but held close in the hearts and memories of those who knew her and loved her. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donating to Meals on Wheels at Chehalem Senior Center or the American Red Cross.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 22nd, 2020, 11:00 a.m., reception following, at First Presbyterian Church (501 Mission Dr. Newberg, Oregon). Interment will take place following the service at Evergreen Memorial Park in McMinnville, at 2:00 p.m. To leave condolences, visit HYPERLINK "http://www.macyandson.com" www.macyandson.com.
