Please contact me if you want a photo of the person or any additions or corrections to this entry.Putting together more info on Thomas Healy. Was a Confederate Civil War Veteran. His death occurred in 1873 and Gethsemane was not established until the first burial in 1894. Previous to that time, folks would be buried at Old Oakhill Cemetery or the old Catholic Cemetery that was approximately 3 miles west of the present Gethsemane Cemetery. Will try to establish at what cemetery he was first buried in. Also, his marker includes a son, Maurice, who died in 1869 and also his wife Bridgett who died about 1894.

New info, according to the burial book for Old Oakhill Cemetery, Thomas Healy was originally buried in Oakhill but after Gethsemane was established in the Fall of 1893 he was reinterred at Gethsemane sometime after 1894.
