Belinda Williamson, 66, of Canada, KY, passed away Thursday February 13, 2020, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. Belinda was born March 23, 1953, at Williamson, WV, the daughter of the late Loraine Layne Skeens and Oscar Skeens Jr. of Belfry, KY. Belinda is also preceded in death by her special aunt, Charlene Hatfield. Belinda was a homemaker and loved to decorate. She was a graduate of Belfry High School Class of 1971 and a member of the Sidney Missionary Baptist Church.
Belinda is survived by her husband, John L. Williamson II of Canada, KY; her children, Wendi Cook of Belfry, KY, John Williamson of Pikeville, KY, and Isaac (Jessica) Williamson of Canada, KY. Belinda is also survived by her brother, Freddie Keith McCoy of Belfry, KY; grandchildren, Mason Keith Washington and Ramzee Lace Cook of Belfry, KY; a special aunt, Loretta Bevins of Belfry, KY, and a host of loving family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 PM Monday, February 17, 2020, at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home with Zeke Stepp and Shawn Ward officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Memory Gardens, Huddy, KY, with J. D. Stanley, Keith Washington, David Maynard, Kelly Williamson, Ryan Williamson and Jimmy Bevins serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6 - 9 PM Sunday night at the funeral home with special services at 7 PM. R. E. Rogers Funeral Home of Belfry, KY, is serving the Williamson family.
