Henry was a family man. He and his wife, Louretha Williams were married for 52 years. In addition to raising a family he was very active in the community as a coach for youth sports. He coached football, Baseball, and summer track for many years. He enjoyed attending sporting events and watching all types of sports on television. Many of those whom he coached still today refer to him as "Coach". Henry's other hobbies included fishing, and signing on to his CB radio as "Batman".
Henry confesses his belief in Christ at an early age and was baptized by Pastor Loree Grimes of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church. Later in life he became a member of Greater Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church and supported the church until his homecoming.
On February 8,2020 the Lord called Henry home as he passed away peacefully following a life well lived with many close family and friends by his side.
