Hazel Dean Johnson Thompson, 97, of Danville, died on Wed, Feb 12, 2020. Hazel was born in Pittsylvania County, on Jan 25, 1923, daughter of William Daniel Johnson and Susie Adkins Johnson. She spent all of her life in the Danville area. She was a homemaker and a member of Mercy Seat Presbyterian Church. She was married to the late Sterling “Jack” Thompson. Survivors include daughters, Janet Tiede (Tom) and Cathy Salmon (Steve); son, Larry Thompson; six grandchildren.
Burial will be in Highland Burial Park.
