William C. "Bill" Harrison passed away Monday, January 6, 2020, at his home in Oakland, MS.

Bill was born November 9, 1930 in Marks, MS to the late James W. and Gladys Elliott Harrison. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force and the Mississippi National Guard and was honorably discharged in October of 1960. Bill was the former owner of Bill's Super Sheer for sixty-one years, and one point, he was a cattle farmer. In his spare time, Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading and dancing. He also had a love for western movies, especially, John Wayne movies. Bill had a strong faith and attended church whenever he was able.

Bill's family that will cherish his memory includes his two daughters, Donna Harrison Gagnon of Sardis, MS, Karen Michelle Brehm of Southaven, MS; son, Jeffery Ford Harrison of Oakland, MS; two sisters, Frankie Harrison McCrary of Senatobia, MS, Nancy Harrison Thornton of Oxford, MS; nineteen grandchildren and thirty-eight great-grandchildren.

Along with his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his son, Murry Harrison; two brothers, James Harrison, Quitman Elliott "Boo" Harrison and a granddaughter, Kimberly Marie Lyon.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, January 9, 2020, at the First Baptist Church in Sardis, MS with interment to follow at Longtown Cemetery in Crenshaw, MS. The family will be receiving friends Wednesday evening, January 8, 2020, at Wells Funeral Home from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M.
