Obituary for Billy P Cook

Bill Pat Cook was born December 30, 1940 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Lawrence Cook and Dersa Cook, and departed this life, February 10, 2020 in Yukon, Oklahoma.

Bill graduated from El Reno High School in 1959, where he excelled in both football and basketball.

Bill loved watching all sports, particularly OU Sooners Football and Basketball. He enjoyed being outdoors and fishing was a favorite pastime. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, Weston Johnson and Katy Cook.

Other survivors include, his son, Patrick Cook of El Reno, OK.; daughter, Kim Johnson, of Oklahoma City; sisters, Judy Nail and husband Ronald, of Sand Springs, OK. and Brenda Kennedy and husband Kevin, of Calumet, OK. ; and many special nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Cook and Dersa Cook-Eaton.

A graveside service to honor and celebrate the life of Bill will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 15, 2020 at El Reno Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home.
