Gerald L. Myers, 86, died at 7:10 a.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Robing's Manor in Brighton. He was born September 27, 1933 the son of the late Archie and Wilma "Tiny" (Fones) Myers. He served in the U.S. Army and he worked as a plumber pipefitter for many years with union local 553. Surviving are three sons, Geff Myers (Gwen) of Brighton, Marck Myers (Brenda) of Kansas City, MO and Michael Myers of Brighton, numerous grandchildren and several great grandchildren, one brother, John Jack Myers of San Antonio, TX. He was preceded in death by one son, Greg Myers in 1992. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until time of funeral at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton.
