Jason DaWayne Stewart, Jr., 22, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2020. He was born February 13, 1997 to Yolonda Stevens and the late Jason DaWayne Stewart, Sr. Jason was a happy bouncing baby boy. He never cried, loved cookies and fries.
He was full of love. Jason loved his brothers. They were inseparable: Jason, Craig and Tanley were bad boys for life. Jason loved movies, especially movies about dancing like “Back to Back”, “Stomp the Yard”, “Bring It On”, “The Wood”, “Best Man”, and “Save the Last Dance”. Jason’s smile lit up the room. He was the life of the party and loved to perform all the new dances. Jason also loved jewelry, his hair waves and being well-dressed.
Jason’s favorite food was noodles. He used to put everything in his noodles, like hot fries, melts and sausages. He enjoyed snacking and stayed eating something sweet.
He graduated from Taft High School. Jason worked for Papa Johns, security for the Cincinnati Reds and food service for the Hamilton County Justice Center. He was a very caring, patient man. When the twins were born (Ceyana and Ce’ Marion), he enjoyed babysitting, playing hide-and-seek with his little brother, sister and cousins, playing the guitar, swimming every day, and learning new games.

Jason was my favorite brother. I remember the times when we were in the room together and would stay up all night long. We would watch movies and Jason would play 2k20, then I would play Fortnite and my dad would come upstairs and say, “When are you going to bed?” Jason would already be asleep.
Every time Jason would come in the house, he would make a funny way to come in the house that would make everyone start laughing. Jason said I was his favorite brother, so that is why he messed with me. I remember when I was watching a movie, he would tickle my stomach and find a way to make me laugh. Jason worked for Papa Johns and would bring me what I wanted: brownies or pizza.
When our little brother was born, Michael, he loved taking care of him. I remember when he was holding our little brother, then he had an accident on his leg. We went to the water park by our old house. It was fun sometimes. We love you Jay. We miss you.
