James (Jim) Kirker, Jr. of Miami, OK passed from this life Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at Eastwood Manor in Commerce, OK, after an extended illness. He was 78.

Jim was born March 13, 1941 in Hammond, IN to James E. and Helen (Smith) Kirker, Sr. Jim graduated from Edinburg Texas High School in 1959 and Del Mar College in Corpus Christi, TX in 1960. Jim moved to Iowa in the 60’s where he pursued a 35 year career as a UPS mechanic supervisor and auto mechanic related businesses. Jim moved to Miami, OK in the 90’s after retirement where he resided.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents and a sister from San Antonio, TX.

Surviving him is his sister Kae K. Metheny of Burleson, TX, a son Kevin and daughter Heidi and his beloved companion, Ruby Smith of Commerce, OK, several cousins and numerous fishing and adventure bubbies.

His wishes were to be a Willed – Body Donor, there will be no memorials at this time. Condolences may be sent to Kae K. Metheny at 1249 Windy Meadows Dr., Burleson, TX 76028. [email protected] .
