Chelsea Lynn Davis was born May 6, 1982 to Terri and Paul Davis, and was welcomed whole heartedly by her older sister, Heather. She was a dainty little girl who would never leave the house without perfect hair, purse and jewelry. Dinner at The Mansion was her favorite family outing and at the age of six she was quick to say she wanted a “Cedes with a phone in it”!

As a young girl her love of tumbling and gymnastics led to competitive cheer in high school and in college, she was a cheerleader at Duke University. Chelsea combined her love of animals and competition early in life and became an accomplished equestrian riding and showing both Peruvian Paso and Tennessee Walkers, and acquiring many blue ribbons along the way.

Chelsea enjoyed playing golf with her parents and friends, roller coasters and bungee jumping with her little brother Ross, friendly push up and sit up competitions with her nephews and uncle, cards with the family or Rock, Paper, Scissors with anyone who would dare! She loved adventure, travel and all things outdoors.

She graduated Valedictorian from Trinity Christian Academy, continuing on to Duke University where she earned both Bio-Medical Engineering and Electrical Engineering Degrees, and finished her formal education earning a law degree from Washington University Law School. Immediately following law school, she passed the patent bar.

Chelsea was the bright light in every room she was present in, showering those around her with her beautiful smile and personality. She was a loving daughter and sister, a friend to many, but her most cherished role was being an aunt to Christian and Carson.

Chelsea was welcomed into the arms of the Lord on February 9, 2020 and reunited with her brother, Ross Dale and great-grandparents, Oma & Winters Murphey.

She is survived by her parents, Paul Davis and Terri Roberts; sister, Heather Cunningham; brother-in-law, Chad Cunningham and nephews Christian and Carson Cunningham; grandparents, Shelby and Peter Medeguari; sisters, Lori Davis Valle (Jay), Jami Arnst (Ted) and Jana Beth Wilhite (Jason); aunts, Martha Davis Saporito (Mark) and Bessie McAneny (Neil) and a host of cousins and extended family.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 14, 2020 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. Entombment is to follow at Ridgeview West Memorial Park, 7800 Sanctuary Drive, Frisco, Texas 75033.The family will receive friends during a visitation on Thursday evening from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
